Global Aero Group was founded in 1977 by Lanny Broders. Since childhood, Lanny had a burning passion for aircraft. His first step into aviation was running a vintage aircraft parts store at John Wayne Airport, where he immersed himself in the industry.

But everything changed when he sold his first piston airplane to 70s star John Travolta and thought, ‘Hey, selling planes ain't so bad.’ That one sale sparked something bigger. Lanny had found his calling, and from that moment on, he never looked back. Global Aero Group was born, and what started as a passion for everything that flies quickly became one of the most trusted aircraft brokerage firms in the industry.
